I really trust these guys, which is saying a lot since I've been had by auto shops in the past. They're fair and honest. Been going there for about 7 years.

I found King's through good ratings on Yelp and gave them a go. Adam, Naveed and every associate with whom I've interacted has been professional, followed up on their word and patiently explained work completed, as well as possible concerns for the future (I am driving a 2000 Ford;). At no time have I felt pressured or mainipulated. During my time in the shop, I witnessed their diligence with other customers (by phone or in person) in the same respectful manner. I highly recommend King's Auto for pre-purchase inspections (a must when buying a vehicle through private party) as well as repair and maintenance. For those of you sensitive to auto repair environments, the shop is clean, has a waiting area with magazines and a coffee machine. There's also a nearby coffee spot (Beantree's Coffee) where you can grab a bite and a pick-me-up while you wait.

I had a rear bearing that needed to be replaced on my car, so we decided to replace both of them even though the other one was still fine. We were planning on taking off the hubs and bringing them in to save on labor, but one of the bolts connecting the knuckle was thoroughly rusted and we couldn't get it off even with an impact wrench, so we took the entire car in to get the bearings replaced. About a year later one of the bearings went out again, the one with the rusted bolt, I had since moved to New Mexico, so I couldnt bring it back to KIngs, but the shop that did the replacement said that the bolt was completely seized and had to be demolished in order to be removed. New bearings should not fail that quickly, and I didnt think that kings would have been able to get that bolt off either without demolishing it, and even if they had managed to get it off I dont think that enough rust would have grown on the bolt over one year in the desert to make it impossible to remove. Which leads me to believe that kings decided not to replace that bearing (because that one didnt need replacing at the time) but charged us for it anyway.

After reviewing the repair order in which the rear wheel bearings were replaced on a 2001 Forester in 06/2014, it was found that the client supplied their own parts. We did replace both wheel bearings and test drove afterwards to verify noise was gone. Rust is not a problem that we caused and can penetrate the threads internally as well. If you had used our parts there would have been parts and labor warranty for 3 YEARS anywhere in the country at a NAPA care center. We offer this to our clients for peace of mind if they are traveling and/or they move. We cannot be responsible for parts we can't stand behind. We also no longer install client supplied parts. We wish you the best. Kings

Just have to edit this again - they are definitely my go to mechanics for my Forester. Very impressed - for almost a year, my air conditioning has been acting up, usually would cut out every 30 miles or so. These guys found a burnt out relay with a little investigation, happy to report after an 800 mile road trip, the a/c stayed solid the entire time after they replaced that relay. Cheap fix that solved the problem. This is the second issue I've brought my car in for that wound up being a tricky problem (not the first time I had the ac looked at, the other issue was a coolant/oil leak), that they managed to find a fix that other shops couldn't even diagnose. Impressed with the mechanics they've got there.

First rate service. Even got in the next day from when I called. They were able to diagnose the problem , the alternator, and replaced it in just a few hours. I'll definitely be going again for other services.

I needed some basic work done on my car (oil change and new battery). I had an appointment, then my darn car died the day before. I totally expected to have to wait a day to get my car fixed, but they fit me in that day! Everybody I spoke to was friendly, helpful, and kept me updated on what my car needed done. A friend recommended King's to me, and I'll be doing the same!

Exceptional service, incredibly trustworthy mechanics! My go-to for the 3 years I lived in Fort Collins. Would highly recommend, especially for any college student (they have a student discount) who owns a Subaru, or any car really, and is weary about finding a mechanic (I couldn't tell you anything about how a car works). They explained any and all issues that my car would have in layman's terms, and were very real with me about what issues I could live with (if I didn't want to splurge on maintenance right away). I'm honestly so bummed I had to move far from them. But, they offered to help me, over the phone, with any car trouble I may have in the future, and to make sure that any mechanic I see is charging me the right price. Again, these guys are very trustworthy and kind individuals!

Great communication about what is wrong and what's a priority vs what's more of an option. They made a mistake last time my car was in there and they were super apologetic and took care of it right away, no complaints!
