After seeing the positive Google reviews, I called King's yesterday to look into the source of a burning smell coming from my car. I was able to get an appointment for the next morning. Over the phone, they said the cost for a diagnostic evaluation would be a 1/2 hour of labor time, which equals $47.50. He said in addition to investigating the presenting problem, that would also include a basic "once-over" to identify any other issue. Sounded fair to me. I dropped off my car and they gave me a ride to work. Later that day, they called to tell me that the source of the smell was a plastic bag or something that had been melted onto the exhaust system. They quoted me a 1/2 hour labor to remove it, which I chose not to do at this time since he said it wasn't actually hurting anything. He then went through a checklist of items with me, and let me know what things may need attention soon and so on. He was very honest with me that none of the issues were urgent, and upon my request, provided verbal estimates on several of the items, should I choose to have them done at some point. The pricing seemed reasonable. Then they sent someone to pick me up at work to get my car. I went in expecting to pay the $47.50 and they only charged me $21. They gave me a report on the items they had checked over. All in all the staff was very nice and professional, they were honest and helpful, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely take my car back, and have already been telling my friends about them. Highly recommend this place!

I originally visited Kings because of their high ratings. After having my oil pan replace and a new battery installed I only have good things to say about my experience. Not only were they able to fit me in that week but the price and quality of the service was great. Defiantly found my go-to Auto shop.

We were on vacation from Texas and our Chrysler Sebring started having problems with it's rear shocks. King's Auto took our car on Monday morning and had it finished by Tuesday afternoon. The work was solid and beat their estimate by almost $100. In a situation where mechanics could have taken the tourists for a ride, they did an outstanding job and got us back to on the road with time left to drive up into the Rockies before heading back to Houston. We would definitely recommend Kings!!

Will never go their again terrible

We try our best to satisfy each and every client. In this instance we were unsuccessful. The vehicle was dropped impromptu and we were told we had it till end of day. It was going to be inspected as planned but the client picked it up before we were able to check it. The time frame was agreed upon but the client's expectation was different than ours. Sorry for the miscommunication. All our best to Randy and please don't hesitate to return if you need our services.

Long, long overdue review to these guys. Helped me out with my Ford Escape, a significant overhaul of gaskets, tie-rods etc. When a slight error was made on their part, they admitted immediately and replaced some aging break lines for free. Very pleased with the service.

In college I brought my truck to a Midas to have the brakes looked at, they quoted me $2500 and told me they could not let my car off the rack because it was unsafe. I called the police and they released my car. I took it to Kings Auto and they did the same work for under $500. Flash forward 15 years, I purchased a car from the dealership and had my service done at the dealership. When I brought it in for service recently they destroyed my cylinder head and wanted $5000 to fix it. I released my car to Kings, where I should have brought it initially, and they did the work for $700 which included a $500 kit that I had to purchase. They completed the work in one day and offered to send me a residual every time they use the tool in the future. I would recommend Kings to any and all for service or just advise as they are more than willing to help everyone.
