I used King's for my Toyota once. They did the work they said in the time they quoted and the fix was satisfactory. These guys know Toyotas but the price was higher than an identical repair a friend had at a different shop.

I initially had a great experience here and was really happy to have found an auto place I liked. However, my most recent experience totally soured me on the place and I don't think I will be returning. I needed repairs to my car that would take the better part of a day and I didn't want to miss work to do them, so I arranged to leave my car with them while I was away over Thanksgiving. They assured me the work would get done and that I could pay over the phone and that they would leave the car out so I could pick it up when I got back since it was after they closed. However, when I got to there to pick up my car, it wasn't there. They had it locked in the back still. I spoke with someone not once, but TWICE very specifically about leaving it out, but instead they totally screwed me over. I was over an hour late to work the next day because of their mistake, and they did not handle it well either. They basically made me feel like the mistake was on my end and then gave me a very minimal discount on an expensive bill, which did not even cover the cab fees I had to pay to get to and from the shop since my car was still there. I didn't give them one star only because I thought my previous experience with them was great. I really can't recommend them anymore though-- when a business tells me they are going to do something, I expect it to be done. The fact that they couldn't keep track of a simple request and then wouldn't even really own up to their mistake is just unacceptable in my book.

The issue the client is referring to was an unfortunate miss-communication and we take full responsibility. We had told the client the car would be ready for pick up when she returned from her trip. It was ready on time, but we had failed to call her for payment to release the car on the day she desired. Because of the large volume of cars being dropped and picked up during the Thanksgiving holiday, we did not remember to communicate with her for payment and pick-up procedure. We do apologize for the large inconvenience and also making her feel as if the mistake was hers. We just assumed she would have called to make the payment before picking up. But again, We should have made the call to her. We did discount the ticket to help with the inconvenience. We are also willing to help with the cost of the taxi. Please give us a call and we will be glad to accommodate you. We try to do our best here at Kings and take it seriously when we do not. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

To be fair, this is the only Auto Shop I have gone to in Fort Collins - they had a great coupon in a coupon book when I was a student so I used it, and have been going back ever since. My favorite story about King's is when I came in for an oil change, and they sent me home saying I had only driven 1000 miles since I was last in for an oil change. Incredible!!! It was very refreshing to find an auto shop that is not trying to rip you off. They never try to push any service/maintenance on me - they are very honest about what repairs are important, how important they are, how long you can go with out it, etc. Be on the look out for their coupons - they also give student discounts ;).

Took my car to get a power steeling flush the first time, something came loose right after the flush on my way home. Took it back to get it fixed. Didn't learn the lesson, took my car in for a transmission fluid exchange again later. Now I have a transmission leak!!! Will take my car back in this PM to see what they say! Follow up: they did take my car back in right away and exchanged the faulty gas kit which supposedly to be the problem. No leak so far. Staying neutral till my next service. Yeah, guess there will be a next time...

We take full responsibility for the inconvenience that Su had through the process. Both times were small parts failing and not due to any negligence on the technicians part but, nonetheless, frustrating for all parties involved. The first issue came from an original hose clamp that had failed to remain tight after servicing the vehicle. We replaced the clamp and bled the system for the client right away. In this second visit, we had performed a fluid service and replaced a crush washer for the drain plug. It was torqued properly by the technician but had failed to seal after driving several miles. Moments after Su notified us of the problem, Kings rearranged the schedule to get the car in right away to resolve the issue. Although we cannot always predict automotive part failures, Kings has always taken care of our clients problems as soon as possible and at no charge. We would like an opportunity to improve Su's experience with us. Please call us any time. Kings Auto Center

Genuine people. Very specific about how much it's gonna be the cost wise. No mind game. Rare to find such honest people. I went for the first time and was impressed by the whole staff. Great work and committment - Definately recommended.

I have used Kings for two years now. My crappy little car has made it this long because of their hard work and diligence in keeping my little Chevy in good shape and safe to drive. There is something to say for having trustworthy folks work on your car, I have never once be upsold on anything, nor felt pressured into doing something I wouldn't have needed for my vehicle. I am looking into buying a new vehicle, and these folks will be the first shop I bring my car to before I make the investment. Recently my car broke down on me, I called Kings and they took care of finding me a cheap tow truck (my insurance actually offered a more expensive service...go figure), and they found me a rental car for a few days so I could go to work while the car was in the shop. They went above and beyond even though they were slammed the week this happened. Adam even took the time to locate the warranty on all the parts that needed to be replaced so I didn't have to pay for parts. What really blew me away was when he told me the labor was under warranty also. I got basically half my car replaced and didn't have to pay a thing. I call that service, and loyalty to their customers. Do yourself a favor and visit Kings if you run into any problems on the road. My only complaint is that they aren't franchised, so I'm stuck with dishonest mechanics if my car ever breaks down in Boulder or Denver. I love you guys, you seriously made my day. Cheers, Amanda Woods

They were fast friendly and kept in touch after working on my car to make sure that everything was going well with the vehicle.

I have been taking my cars to King's for years. The service has always been great. They understand not only how to fix a car correctly but also the stress a car owner is going through when the car is not working right. My VW van recently had transmission, brake and cooling issues. They took the time to investigate and diagnose each problem. They explained them to me in a way that a non auto guy could understand and then fixed the issues in a timely manner. While I am sure that there are many great repair shops in town, King's will have my business for years to come because of their attention to detail and honesty. Thank you!

These guys are the best! I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get my cars to them. I trust these guys completely. They never overcharge or try to "upsell" me on anything. Recently, I took my car in with an very unique problem. Not only did they spend the extra time and money (consulting) figuring out the problem, but they didn't charge me an extra cent for doing it! They probably could have charged me abut 10x more than they did. I know other places that would have for sure. That's why I go to these guys. I totally recommend them!
