Great repair shop! I took my 99 A4 Quattro to Ed Caroll to have the central locking pump worked on. The told me they had it fixed. The same night I brought it home, I had to call a locksmith to get back into it. When I called Ed Carroll service, they tole me they charge $125 per hour and it would cost more than the car is worth to have it fixed. I then took it to King's Auto and in 2 days they actually FIXED it. And the cost was $300.00. If you need your Audi serviced, this is the place to go - not Ed Carroll.

The Jeep dealership wanted to replace my radiator and all the parts that go along with it to the tune of $2,800. My husband found King's and saw the reviews. Really all the radiator needed was some attention with a back flush. Now the heater works again!! I will not be going back to the dealership...King's is my choice now. Thanks again.

I asked for a quote, had to call back the next day to remind them I had called. The quote came in twice as high as other mechanics in the area and they started “diagnosing” other problems over the phone! I was hoping the good reviews would lead me to an honest shop. Not the case. Check around, Dave’s on Timberline was much cheaper and they were honest with me.

Thank you for bringing this miscommunication to our attention. We sometimes struggle with quoting over the phone on vehicles without the proper information. We were told the vehicle was a 2007 Silverado HD with a 5.2 liter motor. The vehicle does not exist in the HD version with this engine size. The 07 Silverado 1500 came in a 5.3 liter and the HD version came with a 6.0 liter. The quote was based on the 6.0 liter and included replacing upper control arms with new ball joints and an alignment. The lower quote you received may be for only ball joints in which the upper controls arms need removed to replace. To be clear, we did not “diagnose” anything over the phone. You stated that the upper ball joints had been replaced recently and were not sure why they have gone bad again. We simply stated that there may be another issue that has not been addressed causing the problem to resurface. Lastly, we are a trustworthy shop and nothing we did would reflect otherwise in getting you a quote for upper control arms on an 07 Silverado HD with a 6.0 liter engine. We wish you the best. I needed some basic work done on my car (oil change and new battery). I had an appointment, then my darn car died the day before. I totally expected to have to wait a day to get my car fixed, but they fit me in that day! Everybody I spoke to was friendly, helpful, and kept me updated on what my car needed done. A friend recommended King's to me, and I'll be doing the same!

On the spot very helpful and fast. Willing to talk over the phone to work through car trouble even if you're out of state. Always very understanding and have student discounts and local company discounts! My go to in FOCO!

First rate service. Even got in the next day from when I called. They were able to diagnose the problem , the alternator, and replaced it in just a few hours. I'll definitely be going again for other services.

In response to the comment of van Searls and Kings response: I'm the owner of the Subaru with all four cylinders misfiring. I'd like to get the story and what had happened straight. I had brought my 03 Subaru into Kings for my CEL (check engine light) being on and flashing. They plugged it in, in the parking lot and it had read that all 4 cylinders were misfiring (which I had already known and told them). I made myself an appointment to get the misfiring problem figured out and fixed. I had dropped my car off around 830am. They said they would do an all around check on the car and call me back with an estimate and what all needs to be addressed. I called them a couple times to see what the deal was with my car and then around 3 they had called me telling me a list of things they had found wrong with my car and an estimate of around $3000. I told them I just wanted to address and fix the misfiring problem, back brakes and replace the bulb of my front head light. Around 5pm I picked my car up. They charged me $775! $418.76 was for ignition wire set & spark plugs (which were replaced just a month before I brought it into Kings), valve cover, air filter... That was supposedly why my car was misfiring. A couple miles down the road my CEL came back on. I called them and they said to bring it in to get read again and it could be something completely different wrong with it. I brought it back in they plugged the reader in and it still read all 4 cylinders were misfiring! Adam said "well looks like we're going to have to run a diagnostic test on it." (Which they should have done before just guessing what the problem was from the start) I asked him "how much is that going to cost me?" His response... "Oh around $40." After hearing that I have to bring it back in, pay for a diagnostic test and my car wasn't fixed I was frustrated, upset and very unsatisfied with my service from Kings. I called my dad and he called kings to see what they could do and what they would do to fix the problem. They gave him the run around. Told him they did the proper work and wasn't willing to make a deal on fixing it or making it right. I called after my dad and asked to talk to Adam about how unsatisfied I was with my service and how my car wasn't fixed! He was out for lunch and I was told I'd get a call back in about an hour.... Never got a call back. Nothing has been done or said to fix the problem and huge lack of responsibility of my car not getting fixed. To say the least I am beyond unhappy with my service or the lack of. Just wish I didn't feel like I got robbed and taken advantage of. The chance was there for them to make it right and I was told I would have to pay for the diagnostic test after bringing it back in. I feel cheated and their response does not line up with what really happened and how my car was never really fixed after leaving and paying for it. I was never told the diagnostic would be free. After I brought it back in. Adam clearly said I was going to get charged $40 and no appointment was ever made because of being upset with the service I had gotten and then being told I would be charged for the diagnostic test. Wish you guys would stop doing the run around and clearly twisting what really happened!

We apologize for any miss-communications throughout your service. It may have been missed when we spoke about any further charge. Once we verified that the vehicle had been here before, we told the client diagnostic would not be charged and set up a next day appointment which was missed. After the client's father called us, he relayed that he would have his neighbor, (the mechanic), call us and go over the issue but we never received that call. Our goal is to help. The issue of the misfire was two fold- oil soaked and arching wires/plugs (even if replaced recently) and most likely a coil that had been burnt by the arching energy. Please rest assured that we will take your opinions to heart and try harder to communicate in such a way that our clients will understand the procedures and possibilities of multiple problems relating to the issue at hand.

A mercedes ml320 1998 black with the brush guards you guys smashed the wire harness causing a electrical fire. After installing a transmission. Then I get a call from a friend who you guys took advantage of charging over 700$ for a coil pack mis fire on her Subaru. She is a single mother. Cmon.. still has a misfire. You will be brought to small claims. This place is a Scam. Wish their was a zero star option..

Sir, We do not have record of this last name in our system. We have found both vehicles that you may be referring to though. Here is the history for both. The only 98 ML320 we have worked on had a transmission replaced over a year ago. We have not received any calls about a fire since then. At the time of service and re-inspection the technician noted a major fuel smell and a fuel leak at top of the tank, a rodent living in the engine bay chewing wires, and, at the last service, the hood cable broken and unable to open. Client declined all of these repairs. If there was any malfeasance on our part, and we were made aware of it, we would take full responsibility. Secondly, the last Subaru which came in for multiple cylinder misfires, which belonged to a single mother, was repaired after proper diagnostic. The charges were very reasonable compared to industy average. Originally, the valve cover gaskets on both banks were leaking internally into the spark plug tubes causing fouled plugs and oil soaked wires. These items were replaced and the misfire was gone. We also replaced the rear brakes for the client The client was scheduled to return after the check engine light came back on for free inspection, but she did not show up. We assume the main ignition coil had gone bad after the repair because of the previous misfires damaging it but were never allowed to verify this secondary issue. We have also identified several issues with the vehicle that are safety concerns. Please deal with those ASAP so you have a safe running car. We try our best to take care of our clients' and their cars'. When given a chance, we will always do the right thing if we make a mistake. Please let us know if there is any issue related to our work. The parts and Labor have a 2 year warranty and also carry the NAPA car care insurance if a client is traveling.
